Understand the dimensions

Record case diameter, thickness, lug-to-lug length and strap width. Compare these with a watch that sits comfortably on your wrist. A larger lug-to-lug dimension can change the fit even when two watches share the same diameter.

Ask about the exact version

Keep the stated movement, dial version, bracelet adjustment and included links in the same record. Avoid treating a generic watch photograph as evidence for every variation offered by a seller.

Know what images cannot establish

A photograph may reveal dial alignment or a visible scratch; it cannot verify water resistance, timekeeping performance or authenticity. Do not assume a water-resistance marking has been independently tested. Keep unsupported claims marked as unknown.
